Toll was looking for a collaboration solution to uncover potential improvements to business processes with three keys aims in mind:
There was no single way to gather ideas and feedback, rather new thinking was interspersed across conversations, email, meetings, and documents—as in most organizations.
Toll considered a number of solutions but decided on HunchBuzz which met their requirements on functionality, cost and the fact that it is locally supported. Toll has used some of the advanced HunchBuzz features like themes to create an idea gathering mechanism that applies across the business, from the warehouse to the corporate office.
The Journey Board which displays all current ideas and feedback in a simple Kanban view, and the in-depth reporting and analytics have been found to be particularly useful in understanding the feedback and identifying where to concentrate activity and resources.
Toll is also rolling out Microsoft Teams and is looking to take advantage of the deep integration HunchBuzz offers with Teams and Microsoft 365 in general.
Toll has seen issues, ideas and feedback contributed from all parts of the organization, and from all levels. While adoption is still growing and metrics are developing, the feedback from employees has been that HunchBuzz is easy to use, and management has seen improved collaboration and engagement.
