Dunbar's number is a fascinating concept around the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships in which an individual knows who each person is and how each person relates to every other person. Why is this important do you ask? In any organization the same thing applies, once the org grows to greater than 150 or so people don't know each other personnaly and begin to break into sub-groups and silos.
